Tripura to give Rs 25 lakh for flood victims in Bihar

Agartala, Sep 2 (UNI) The Tripura Cabinet has decided to help the Bihar government by sending Rs 25 lakh for the flood-affected people of the state, official sources here today informed.

The Tripura government would send Rs 25 lakh for rescue and rehabilitation of the flood victims in Bihar soon.

An estimated two million people have been displaced by the floods and 2,27,000 homes destroyed following devastating floods in the Kosi and other rivers in North Bihar.
