British Airways slashes fare to London from India
Mumbai, Sep 2 (UNI) British Airways today announced a cut in its fare to London from various destinations in India during this festive season.
Available from Rs 9,990, plus taxes, fees and surcharges, this fare is valid on flights to London from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Bangalore, British Airways said in a release here.
British Airways Area Commercial Manager for South Asia, Amanda Amos said, ''This is a commitment to our Indian customers to offer our lowest ever fare and excellent value''. While offering an irresistibly low fare to London, the airline will continue to offer its customers all the benefits they have come to expect from British Airways, he added.
In the World Traveller cabin, everything comes with comfort in mind, from ergonomically designed seats with lumbar support, to your own seat back video screen and a wide choice of the latest family movies and TV entertainment.
Fares are available for sale since yesterday for travel till January 31, 2009 from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, and Kolkata routes to London Heathrow. It would also be available from Hyderabad when the new route is launched on December seven.
Operating from India for 78 years, British Airways currently has 43 flights per week from London Heathrow to five cities in India.
