OMC donates Rs.10 crore to Orissa CM's relief fund
Bhubaneswar,Sep 1 (UNI) The state owned Orissa Mining Corporation (OMC) today donated Rs 10 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
OMC Chairman Ashok Dalwai and Director Santosh Sarangi presented a cheque for Rs 10 crore to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here.
The company also presented a cheque for Rs 80 crore to Mr Patnaik out of the total Rs 100 crore profit by it made during 2006-07.
Official sources said the OMC had paid Rs 20 crore of its total profit to the government earlier.
Steel and Mines Minister Pradip Kumar Amat and Chief Secretary Ajit Kumar Tripathy were present during the presentation of the cheque.
