Cong election campaign committee constituted for Delhi Assy polls

New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) A 78-member election campaign committee for the forthcoming Assembly polls in Delhi, chaired by former chief of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee and party MLA Subhash Chopra, has been constituted, it was announced today.

A proposal for the constitution of the Election campaign Committee of the Delhi Pradesh Congress has been approved by Mrs Gandhi, AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot announced today.

The 78-member committee includes DPCC president J P Agarwal, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Union Ministers and Congress MPs Kapil Sibal, Ajay Maken, Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar, Krishna Tirath, Sandeep Dikshit, Janardan Dwivedi, Dr Karan Singh, Mr R K Dhawan, former DPCC president Ram Babu Sharma, Mr Vishwabandhu Gupta, MLAs Tajdar Babar, A K Walia, Raj Kumar Chauhan, Arvinder Lovely, Manga Ram Singhal, Yoganand Shastri, Congresss secretaries Maj Ved Prakash, Capt Praveen Davar, Parvez Hashmi, Jai Kishen and Alka Lamba and Councillors Jai Kishen Sharma, Farhad Suri, Shalu Malik and Neetu Verma.
