Dow gives Rs 1 crore grant to hold free Jaipur Foot camps

Jaipur, Aug 28 (UNI) Dow Chemical International has contributed an additional fund of Rs one crore to Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti(BMVSS) for holding free camps in Pune, Mumbai and Chennai to implant Jaipur Foot(artificial limb) to handicapped people.

A Dow spokesman said here that the grant would pave the way for implanting artificial limbs to around 7,000 handicapped people at the three camps to be held in October.
