BJP to stage ''Maha dharna'' in national Capital

Tirupati, Aug 28 (UNI) The BJP would stage a ''Maha Dharna'' in New Delhi on September 21, to protest the Centre's move to grant SC status to the converted Christians and Muslims.

According to district SC Morcha leader Balakrishna, as many as one lakh Dalit organisation across the country will participate in the dharna.

Dharna will also be organised at all the district headquarters in Andhra Pradesh.

The dharnas are to be observed in protest against the Justice Ranganatha Mishra Commission report which has approved SC status to the converted Christians and Muslims, who will come under BC 'C', he added.
