MTDC to organise incredible 'Maharashtra' tourism compaign

Mumbai, Aug 27 (UNI) Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, (MTDC) in association with India tourism, Mumbai, has organised a month long promotion ''exploring the incredible Maharashtra'' starting September 1.

The regional office of the Ministry of Tourism will host a month-long promotion campaign ''explore the incredible states'' in its office at Churchgate.

Talking to reporters, tourism secretary Joyce Shankaran and MTDC managing director Jyant Gaikwad said, the event will be inaugurated by state tourism minister Vijaysingh Mohite Patil.

During the programme, India tourism will represent unique features of the state, such as Paithani sarees and the works of various craftsmen. Warli painters and paper mache artists have also been invited for the programme.
