Cabinet gives nod to 'Him Gramin Parivahan Swarojgar Yojna'

Shimla, Aug 27 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet today approved 'Him Gramin Parivahan Swarojgar Yojna' under which the unemployed youths of rural areas would be given route permits to ply vehicles.

Stating this here today, a government spokesman said the scheme would help in making improved transport services available to the rural commuters at their door steps and also provide unemployed youth income generating avenues through self employment.

He said tax concessions upto 85 percent would be provided in the scheme.
