Vasundhara Raje invites Tata to Rajasthan

Jaipur, Aug 24: Vasundhara Raje, the Rajasthan Chief Minister has invited industrialist Ratan Tata for setting up 'Nano' car manufacturing unit in Rajasthan. "If Tatas opt to put up their unit in Rajasthan, our government would provide all necessary facilities," she said.

The Chief Minister sent a proposal to Ratan Tata in veiw of the law and order problem being witnessed at the present location of Singur in West Bengal. Raje said Honda group had already put up its car manufacturing unit at Bhiwari in the state. Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata on Friday, Aug 22 has threatened to pull out from Singur following agitation threat from Mamata Banerjee and farmers to return the 400 acres of farm land acquired for the small car project in Singur.
