Cong high-level team to hear views of CM, ministers, MLAs

Puducherry, Aug 25 (UNI) Union Minister and AICC Coordinator Vayalar Ravi today said his team comprising Mr V Arun Kumar and Mr Krishnamurthy will hear the views of Chief Minister N Rangasamy, ministers, party MLAs and Independents supporting the Congress Government here and apprise party president Sonia Gandhi.

Talking to newspersons, Mr Ravi who was here to conduct the crucial Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting to find an amicable settlement to the tussle between the Chief Minister and the ministers, said they had come with an open mind to 'hear the views'.

Ms Gandhi would take the final decision according to the policies of the Congress, he said.

On the change in leadership, Mr Ravi said it all depended on the deliberations today.

Following the representations from ministers and MLAs, the team had already held discussions with them in New Delhi and three meetings with the Chief Minister in the national capital.

The ministers were here to sort out the issue.
