Noted Urdu editor Moin Ahmed passes away
Mumbai, Aug 24 (UNI) Moin Ahmed, Editor of Urdu Times, a Urdu daily published from the city, died here today following a massive heart attack. He was 40, family sources said.
Ahmed complained of a severe chest pain early today and died at his residence at Mumbai Central, in South Mumbai, before he could be taken to a hospital.
The funeral was attended by Milind Deora, MP, state minister Baba Siddiqui, state legislators Yusuf Abrahani, Bashir Patel, Arif Naseem Khan and other prominent people.
The US government had recently invited Mr Ahmed as an Indian representative to talk on various political and non political issues at an International conference there.
He is survived by wife, son and a daughter.
