Five medicos freed after questioning in Raj
Jaipur, Aug 23 (UNI) Five medical students, who were held in Ajmer and Jaipur for interrogation for their possible role or links with suspects in serial blasts in Jaipur and Ahmedabad, were freed, officials said.
While four medicos were picked up from Ajmer on Thursday night, an intern was nabbed for questioning from SMS Medical College hostel room here on Sunday.
However, they were freed after interrogation yesterday, the sources said.
Earlier, an AIIMS-trained trauma specialist, who was nabbed in Niwai (Tonk) in suspicion of links with blast suspects, was also released.
After arrests of key suspects in the serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad and Jaipur by the Gujarat police last week, the Rajasthan police had been rounding up several people for interrogation at different places in the state since Saturday.
Some of them were still being interrogated.
