JK: 4 rescued from clutches of HM in Kishtwar

Jammu, Aug 22: Security forces rescued four people from the clutches of the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HM) outfit in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here today said.

''Based on specific information, the troops of 11 RR and state police last night launched a search operation and raided a hideout in tehsil Chatroo area,'' official sources told UNI.

However, those who were rescued later surrendered before the security forces along with some ammunition and revealed that HM militants lured them to provide information regarding movement of the Army and police.

''The rescued people disclosed that they were motivated to join the outfit while they were identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, Manzoor Ahmed, Abdullah, Goguraa, all resident of village Pathwal, in tehsil Ramnagar of Udhampur district,'' sources added.
