The Queen knows nothing about what's going on in her kitchen!

New York, Aug 21: It seems that Queen Elizabeth will now have to keep a strict check on what's going on in her kitchen in Buckingham Palace.

Darren McGrady, royal chef, revealed that once a pastry chef was preparing souffle, but when he pulled the dessert out of the oven it was flat as a pancake.

In a bid to hide the disaster he deliberately smashed it on the floor and then pleaded an accident.

"He was absolutely horrified, particularly as he knew the Queen was waiting for it for dessert," New York Post quoted McGrady, as telling Santa Barbara News-Press gossip Richard Mineards.

"Rather than admit his disaster, he deliberately smashed it on the floor and then pleaded an accident. Her Majesty ended up having ice cream instead," he added.
