Nemwang asks Nepal CA members not to delay formation of new government
Kathmandu, August 21 : Nepal Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Chandra Nemwang on Thursday urged the members of the CA to fasten up the formation of a new government as they have already delayed the task of drafting a new constitution.
He was speaking at a felicitation programme organized by Constitutional Journalists Concern Society in Kathmandu today; he said that the people are desperate to see the completion of the new cabinet.
According to Kantipur, Nemwang stated that although the first Constituent Assembly meeting declared the country a federal democratic republic, it was necessary to write a new constitution on time to complete it.
The constitution drafting task should not be delayed any more as it has already been delayed for some time, he added.
While mentioning that the inclusive Constituent Assembly is the power of the new Nepal, Nemwang underscored the need to take it as an opportunity.
