Woman found dead in theatre
Kakinada, Aug 18 (UNI) A newly-wed woman, who went for a matinee show in a cine theatre at Jaggampet, 40 km from here, with her husband, was found dead in the toilet shortly after the interval today.
Jaggampet Circle Inspector G V S Pydeswerarao told UNI that a thorough inspection had revealed that she had been strangulated.
The deceased was identified as Koppula Ramalakshmi (20).
Her husband had told the police that Ramalakshmi, who went to the toilet at around 1630 hrs, did not return even after half-an-hour.
He went in search of her and found her lying unconscious inside the toilet. He then informed the matter to his brother-in-law and asked him to come over there.
Ramalakshmi's parents, however, complained to the police that it was a ''murder'' by their son-in-law.
