One killed in flash floods in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Aug 17 (UNI) One person was killed following flash floods in a seasonal rivulet near Dhanas village today, police sources here confirmed.
According to sources, three persons got trapped when the water level of the rivulet rose following heavy rains in the adjoining hills and in and around Chandigarh. However rescue teams reached the spot and pulled out all the three and rushed them to the PGI.
Later one of them identified as Sushil Kumar died in the hospital.
