Fertiliser dealers appeal militants to withdraw monetary demands

Imphal, Aug 17 (UNI) Fertiliser dealers of the state today appealed the militants, not to impose heavy monetary demands.

The dealers here informed that a militant outfit had asked them to pay huge amount by August 25.

The dealers could not meet the demand as they had to pay legal and illegal taxes, on NH 39, in Manipur and Nagaland.

About 45 dealers bring fertilizer, it was stated.

Landslides, economic blockades disrupt the movement of vehicles several times, the dealers informed.
