Four of family commits suicide in Ahirka village
Jind, Aug 15: A widow, along with her two sons and a daughter, allegedly consumed celphos tablets to end their lives in Ahirka village of the district last night, police sources said on Friday, Aug15.
The deceased were identified as Shanti, here two married sons.
Rajpal and Naresh and daughter Neelam. Though they were rushed to a private hospital by neighbours, on reaching the nursing home they were declared brought dead.
The reasons for the suicide are not yet to be known as no note was recovered from the house. Police has registered a case and are investigating the matter.
According to police sources, Shanti's husband had died about six months back. The wives of Rajpal and Naresh had gone to their maternal homes on the occasion of Rakhi, which falls tomorrow while Neelam had come to the village yesterday to tie the sacred thread on her two brothers.
