CPI(ML), Kisan Sabha observed protest day against Noida incident
Lucknow, Aug 14 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist&Leninist) and Uttar Pradesh Kisan Sabha today observed 'protest day' against the police action on the farmers in Greater Noida yesterday.
CPI(ML) secretary Sudhakar Yadav and Kisan Sabha convener Ishwari Prasad Kushwaha demanded to book the guilty police and administrative officials under murder charges, free the innocent farmers, who were put behind the bars and fulfit the compensation demands of the farmers.
They also condemned the arrest of the agitators in Varanasi, who had burnt the UP Chief Minister, Mayawati's effigy.
Under the protest day, the parties activists took out procession in several districts of the state, including Chandauli, Ghazipur, Allahabad, Akbarpur, Ambedkarnagar, besides setting ablaze UP CM in effigy.
