All India Muslim Forum to celebrate I-Day week
Lucknow, Aug 14 (UNI) To highlight the achievements of the community in the Freedom Struggle and its continuous degedration, the All India Muslim Forum today said they would celebrate Independence Day Week from August 15 to 22.
The office bearers of the Muslim Forum would hold meetings and symposiums in their localities across the state during the week, All India Muslim Forum president Syyed Rafat said talking to mediapersons here.
The country was going to celebrate the 61st Independence Day, but the community was still living under the atmosphere of insecurity, intimidation and fear, he claimed.
Mr Rafat further alleged that the every terrorist blast proceedings on the baseless presumptions of Muslims involvement, while the recent attack on the lawyers, who were defending the terrorists, was the most disturbing phenomenon and destroying the faith of the community in the entire administrative set-up.
