Child dies after being buried under debris of drain

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) A child died in East Delhi today after being buried under the debris of a nullah (drain), fire brigade officials said.

Fire officials said at 1820 hours, a child playing along a nullah at Vishwas Nagar in East Delhi died after the sand on the banks of the drain caved in burying the child under its debris.

The child was rushed to Hedgewar hospital where he was declared brought dead, fire officials said.
