Rupee gains 12 paise at 41.94/95 per US Dollar

Mumbai, Aug 11: The Indian Rupee gained 12 paise at 41.94/95 per US Dollar from its previous close of 42.06/07 per dollar following the upward move in the stock market on positive global cues.

The Indian currency firmed up as soft oil prices eased expectations for a wider trade deficit, while gains in the local share market raised hopes for foreign fund inflows, dealers said.
