Gold jewellery stolen from residence of AIADMK MP

Chennai, Aug 11 (UNI) Six sovereigns of gold jewellery were stolen from the Annanagar residence of AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP K Malaisamy last night.

Police sources said his daughter had kept a gold chain and three rings on a table near the window and retired for the day.

When she woke up she found them missing.

Police suspect that the burglars might have stolen it through the window.
