Bank of Baroda raises BPLR by 0.75 pc

New Delhi, Aug 11: Bank of Baroda on Monday, Aug 11 surged its Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) by 0.75 per cent to 14 per cent from 13.25 per cent. The 75 bps hike will be effective from Monday, Aug 11, the Bank said in a statement. The interest rates on new housing loans exceeding Rs 30 lakh and new auto and consumer loans will be increased by 0.50 per cent.

However, the interest rate on existing housing, educational and auto loans, and new housing loans up to Rs 30 lakh have been kept unchanged.
