Woman killed, 3 injured in car-truck collision

Phagwara, Aug 10 (UNI) A woman was killed and three others were injured when their car was hit by a truck near the JCT flyover on NH-I in the town this morning, police sources here said.

The deceased identified as Sunita Rani alongwith other relatives was returning home to Phagwara after attending a marriage function at Phillaur when the mishap occured.

The injured identified as Surinder Dutt, Uma Shamra and Anu Sharma were admitted to the civil hospital here. The police has registered a case against the truck driver.
