Four killed in car-bus collision in K'taka
Belgaum, Aug 9 (UNI) Four persons, including a young woman, were killed and four others were injured when a state transport corporation bus car collided head on with a car on the outskirts of Kittur town in this district today.
Police said the accident took place on a blind curve that connects the town to the National Highway four which had been a accident prone zone. Though an alternative route had been provided drivers used this short cut.
While three died on the spot, another died in hospital. The injured had been admitted to a hospital here. The injured included a tea vendor who was sitting in his shop near the accident spot.
The dead, all travelling in the ill-fated car, were identified as Anusha Amrit Joshi (19), Paraful Inamdar (45), Hanag Anant Joshi (54) and the driver of the car Rajaram Khade (30).
