Judicial probe begins in Asaram Bapu Ashram death case

Ahmedabad, Aug 6 (UNI) Retired Justice R K Trivedi has initiated probe into the death of two students of the Sant Asaram Bapu Ashram here.

Bowing to popular pressure, on July 21 the Gujarat government appointed retired Justice Trivedi to investigate the death of the two students Dipesh and Abhisek Vaghela.

Justice Trivedi took over the probe four days ago.

Meanwhile, the parents of both the boys have decided to intensify their agitation with the launch of a 72-hour fast on Friday, demanding a CBI probe into the case.

It may be recalled that the two boys were found dead under mysterious circumstances in the periphery of the Ashram last month.
