JKLF chairman Malik's condition critical
Srinagar, Aug 6 (UNI) The condition of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front(JKLF) chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik, who is on fast against the alleged attacks on Muslims in Jammu, is critical, doctors said today.
However, Mr Malik said he would continue the fast till the government accepted his demands.
Dr Ghulam Qadir Allaqband and Dr Zafar Mehdi, who examined Mr Malik, on fast unto death from yesterday 1000 hrs, said he immediately needed medicine for his heart and kidney ailment.
The blood pressure of Mr Malik has also come down to 90 by 60, the doctors told reporters here this afternoon.
The doctors advised Mr Malik to end his fast as his condition was critical after he refused to take medicines and fluid.
They said if Mr Malik refused to end his fast, the government should immediately intervene and arrest him before it was too late.
They said he should be shifted to hospital and given proper medical treatment immediately.
Mr Malik is on fast against the alleged attacks on the Muslims and Kashmiri drivers and others in Jammu.
