Rupee gains 20 paise against USD as oil slides further
Mumbai, Aug 5: The Rupee gained 20 paise at 42.28/29 against US Dollar as compared to its previous close of 42.48/49 per dollar as oil prices eased further.
The domestic unit strengthened as global oil prices fell to near three-month lows, calming nerves about a widening trade deficit, traders said, adding, they were watching the local share market to gauge fund flows.
