HP to talk with Rajasthan on Pong Dam issue

Shimla, Aug 5 (UNI) The Himachal Government would hold a meeting with Rajasthan Government delegation here tomorrow to discuss the decade-old issue of rehabilitation of Pong Dam oustees.

An official spokesman today said that Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister Thakur Gulab Singh and senior officers of state government will deliberate on rehabilitation and resettlement of Pong Dam oustees with the Rajasthan Government delegation, visting Shimla tomorrow.

He said that every effort would be made by the respective parties to resolve the issues amicably touching all the points.

Representatives of Pong Dam oustees would also participate in the meeting.
