KSU to prevent functioning of six SFCs

Kannur, Aug 2 (UNI) The pro-Congress Kerala Students Union (KSU) today said it would not allow functioning of the six Self-Financing Colleges (SFCs), which had entered into an agreement with the government.

Talking to mediapersons here, KSU State President Hibi Eden said the government had violated guidelines of the P A Muhammed Committee and the recent court verdict cancelling the entrance exam of these colleges could be cited as an instance of that.

Mr Eden said the KSU would intensify its protests against the wrong policies of the government.
