K N R Constructions posts net profit of Rs 10.16 cr in Q1

Hyderabad, Aug 1 (UNI) K N R Constructions Ltd, a premier construction company engaged in infrastructure development, has reported a net profit of Rs 10.16 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2008.

The Managing Director of K N R Constructions Ltd Mr K Narasimha Reddy in a statement here today, said the company has reported a net income of Rs 170.22 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal.

"The company has done extremely well in the first quarter of the current financial year, backed by good construction activities in all the fields, including highway construction and irrigation," he said.

This was the first year the company had prepared interim financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. Hence comparable financial results for the corresponding quarter period were not available, he added.
