Haryana policeman held with heroin

Patiala, Aug 1 (UNI) Punjab police today nabbed a Haryana police constable and his three associates with one kg heroin near Dmanaheri railway crossing in the district today.

The four people identified as Gurdeep Singh Deepa and his brother, Bikramjit Singh, a constable of the Haryana police, of Elanabad village near Sirsa alongwith Balli Singh and Ramesh Kumar were nabbed by the Rajpura police.

A .22 bore revolver with eight live cartridges were recovered from them.

All the four were later arrested under the NDPS Act.
