Teacher sentenced for insulting national flag
Shajapur, MP, Jul 31 (UNI) A local court today sentenced a teacher of a government primary school in Bagrikheda to one year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000 for unfurling the national flag upside down at the school during the Independence Day last year.
Civil Judge Ajay Taylor awarded the punishment to Ramesh Gehlot under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act.
The related complaint was lodged by villagers.
