Lebanese singer murdered in Dubai

Dubai, Jul 30 (UNI) Well-known Lebanese singer Suzan Tamim was found murdered at her apartment in Dubai Marina, police said.

Suzan, 31, had been stabbed several times and her face disfigured by the killer, police officials said.

On a complaint from her relatives, police went to her apartment in Burj Al Remal building in Dubai Marina at 2000 hrs (local time)on Monday and found her body. Police said the body has been handed to the forensic department for further investigations.

The singer was living alone in the building for the past eight months.

Suzan won a famous Lebanese talent show, Studio Al Fan. The show produced by Simon Asmar in 1996 was broadcast on LBC. She had disputes with her second husband, the Lebanese producer Adel Matouk who is in Beirut, after he insisted on her becoming a housewife which she refused, the Gulf News said.
