Heavy rains lashes all parts of the state
Ahmedabad, Jul 29: Heavy to moderate rains lashed parts of Gujarat on Tuesday, July 29 after a dry spell of a month. Ahmedabad recorded 52.4 mm rains since early this morning.
Vadodara recorded 38.6 mm, Rajkot 0.2 mm, Bhuj 25.9 mm and Surat recorded 9.5 mm rains in the last 24 hours. Saurashtra, which had good rains at the beginning of the season, is gearing up for another spell of heavy rains. According to weather office, moderate to heavy rains will take place in next 36 hours in Gujarat as well as Diu, Daman and Dadara and Nagar haveli.
