Live bomb found in Surat's Varachha area
Surat, Jul 28 (UNI) A live bomb, planted in an Electric Power DP, near Labeshwar Chokdi in Varachha area of the Diamond city, led to panic today.
As soon as information was received by Varachha police station about the bomb being planted in the Torrent Power DP, police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
Police sources said the live bomb was defused by the bomb disposal squad and FSL experts.
This was the second live bomb recovered since yesterday. Earlier a similar one was recovered near Nupur Hospital.
Surat police also seized two explosives-laden cars yesterday from two different locations.
