Hyderabad, Jul 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President D Srinivas today took strong exception to the ''immature'' remarks of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu that 'thieves' expelled from the TDP were joining the Congress.

Addressing a press conference here, he alleged that Mr Naidu was making ''baseless'' allegations though the expelled TDP leaders were not joining the Congress.

On whether Chittoor MP Adikeshavulu Naidu, expelled from the TDP for voting in favour of the UPA Government in the trust vote in Parliament, would join the Congress, Mr Srinivas said there was no informaton on it. However, Mr Adikeshavulu Naidu was a Congressman ten years back, who had joined the TDP due to some unavoidable circumstances.

He said if Mr Adikeshavulu Naidu joined the party, the Congress was ready to field him in Kuppum constituency against Mr Chandrababu Naidu in the next elections.
