6 killed, 50 injured in road accident
Dhaka, Jul 28 (UNI) A head-on collision between two passenger buses killed six people, including four women, and injured 50 others on a highway in Bangladesh's south-western district Faridpur, about 85 kms from here today.
Police said the accident occurred on Dhaka-Khulna highway at about 1130 hrs (local time). Four women died on the spot and two critically injured passengers died at a local hospital.
The injured were admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital and the condition of 19 injured were stated to be critical.
