Jewellery worth Rs 33.02 lakh stolen in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jul 23: Some unidentified miscreants broke into a jewellery workshop and fled with valuables worth Rs 33.02 lakh at Matrukripa building of Zaveri Bazar in south Mumbai.
The goldsmith Jayant Hamukhalal Kothari (53), in his complaint said he downed the workshop's shutter at around 2100 hrs on Monday and went home. When he came back yesterday morning, he found the grill of the workshop's window broken and gold jewellery worth Rs 33,02,911 missing from the locker.
Police have registered a case of house breaking.
