I will not announce resignation outside: Somnath

New Delhi, Jul 22: Speaker Somnath Chatterjee on Tuesday, July 22, said he would not announce his resignation outside Parliament.

''Certainly I will not announce my resignation here,'' he told reporters before going inside the Lok Sabha. Earlier, as soon as he got out of his car, the media asked when he was going to resign, as there were reports that he would quit on July 22. ''Have some respect for an old man,'' he quipped.
