Haryana Akalis demand arrest of Dera chief

Ambala, Jul 18 (UNI) The district unit of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today condemned the ''attack on Sikhs by the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda'' which led to the killing of a member of the community in Dabwali this morning.

The SAD leaders held a meeting at the Manji Sahib gurudwara which was chaired by district president Ajit Singh Sondha and passed a resolution demanding the immediate arrest of the miscreants responsible for the attack on Siklhs.

Through another resolution the meeting demanded that the Sacha Sauda chief Gurmit Ram Rahim should be arrested for the Dabwali incident and he was inciting his followers to attack Sikhs. The meeting demanded that activities of the Dera chief should be checked.
