3 political parties to hold demos in Pondy Jul 19

Puducherry,July 18(UNI) The Union Territory will witness agitations organised by three major parties here tomorrow.

The Mahila Congress would organise a rally in support of the Indo-US Nuclear Deal while the Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC) would organise a procession to condemn the government here for its alleged failure to curb price rise.

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) would organise a fast to condemn the killing of the Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made by the police in view of the agitation called by the three parties on the same day.
