Mother commits suicide, two children injured

Darbhanga, Jul 12 (UNI) A woman committed suicide and her two children sustained serious injuries when she along with her minors jumped on railway track while a train was passing through at Balbhadrapur village under Laheria Sarai police station area in the district today.

Deputy Police Superintendent Parvej Akhtar said the mother, identified as one Anita Devi, jumped on railway track along with her children following a family dispute. Anita died on the spot while the children sustained serious injuries, he added.

One injured child had been referred to Patna Medical College Hospital(PMCH), Mr Akhtar said adding the case was being investigated.
