Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.72 per USD, 44 paise lower

Mumbai, July 11 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.72, down by 44 paise from its previous day's rate of Rs 43.16 per unit, on strong supply of dollars in the currency market.
