JKLF to give awards to 6 people killed in firing during SASB issue
Srinagar, Jul 11 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has decided to give awards posthumously to six people who were killed in security force and police firing during the recent ten-day long agitation against the diversion of land to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).
The awards, named after the founder of the JKLF Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, will be presented to the next of kin of these people at a function here tomorrow, a JKLF spokesperson said.
Those who will be awarded includes Feroz Ahmad, Sameer Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad, Feroz ahmad Khan, Abdul Gani and Imtiyaz Ahmad for making sacrifice for a cause, he added He said hundreds were also injured during the agitation.
