Nagaland: Rio to visit Kerala to sign MoU
Kohima, Jul 10: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, accompanied by Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University Prof K Kannan, will visit Kerala on July 12 to sign an MoU for the educational development of the state.
Official sources said here today that Mr Rio will arrive at Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ITTK-K.
He will also chair a Workshop to explore Kerala-Nagaland collaboration in linking education and development of the North Eastern Region.
Sources said the move was initiated to explore means for possible areas of collaboration and also facilitate caring and sharing for growth and development of the NE through education.
The Chief Minister will also have a video conference with the School of Engineering and Technology and School of Management, Dimapur, from Thiruvananthapuram.
