Cement despatches rise more than 27 per cent

Kolkata, Jul 9 (UNI) Shree Cement Limited (SCL), the Beawar (Rajasthan) based cement manufacturer has despatched a total of 6.09 lakh tonnes in June this year, representing a growth of 27.46 per cent over the corresponding month of 2007.

According to a company release here, in June last year SCL had despatched 4.77 lakh tonnes.

During April-June 2008, the company despatched a total of 17.79 lakh tonnes, a rise of 26.76 per cent over the period last year when it had despatched 14.03 lakh tonnes, the release said.
