TN signs agreement with Aircel to renovate Gandhi Mandapam

Chennai, Jul 7 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Government today signed an agreement with Aircel to renovate and beautify Gandhi Mandapam at a cost of Rs 78 lakh.

As per the agreement, Aircel would renovate the premises under the supervision of Information and Public Works Departments, an official release here said.

After removing the bushes, Aircel was planning to lay grass layouts and plant different varities of flower plants in more than 10,000 sq ft area, the release said.

Aircel would also set up illuminating fountains and maintain the premises for three years. Based on its performance, the contract would be extended, the release added.
